Hinablon, or the art of handloom weaving, was almost considered a sunset industry until it was revived by a group of students and teachers from Cebu Technological University through the help of the institution's partners from the private and public sectors. During the pandemic, it once again faced the threat of extinction as the demand for handwoven fabric and its secondary products declined. But the school thought of a way to sustain the industry.
