Quaterfinal cast complete as Confix beats Makaw in AEBC Buildrite Cup

CONFIX nipped Makaw, 73-65, and finalized the quarterfinal pairings in the Architects and Engineers Basketball Club (AEBC) Buildrite Cup 2025 over the weekend at the University of San Carlos (USC) Downtown Campus Gym.

Archie Araw-Araw shone bright in the crucial win, leading Confix with a game-high 22 points along with two rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Rex Cagulada and Dafyd Tallido backed Araw-Araw with 19 and 17 points, respectively.

Jeanne Paolo Perez fired 21 points and Levi Sinson had 20 for Makaw, which, despite the loss, still advanced to the quarterfinal round.

The crossover quarterfinal round will start on March 21 at the same venue.

Natica will take on Makaw at 6 p.m. while Blockout will tangle with Rubberstop at 7:15 p.m.

Clashing at 8:30 p.m. are Confix and Smartbond while HandyPro and Kryocrete clash for the 9:45 main match.

Blockout topped Bracket A after the eliminations with four wins with no loss while Natica secured the top seeding in Bracket B with four wins and one loss.(CCM)
