DON Bosco Liloan and Don Bosco Technical College (DBTC) Greywolves stamped their class by winning separate titles in the 24th Aboitiz Football Cup Champions League on Saturday, March 15, at the Dynamic Herb-Borromeo Sports Complex.

Don Bosco Liloan, representing the Cebu Regional Football Association (CRFA), dominated the Players 16 category, while the DBTC Greywolves currently tops the Players 18 division.

Don Bosco Liloan completed a perfect run, scoring nine points following a 3-0 (win-loss) campaign. The team started its campaign with a 3-0 rout of Davao Hyenas of the Davao South Regional Football Association.

Don Bosco Lilon stayed hot, drubbing Batangas Blitzkrieg Football Foundation of the Quezon-Batangas RFA, 4-0, for its second win. The squad then capped its title run with a 1-0 win over Tarlac Clark International Football Academy of Central Luzon.

Batangas finished second with a 1-1 record. The Hyenas ranked third with one draw and one defeat.

In the Players 18 division, the DBTC Greywolves settled for a 0-0 draw against Davao Rovers FC in their opening match but triumphed in their second match against the Batangas Stingrays FC, 1-0.(MyTVCebu)
