Semis cast complete as 6 teams go undefeated in Visayas G-Hoops elims

SIX squads went undefeated at the close of the elimination round of the Visayas G-Hoops Season 1.

Hoopster Training Camp (HTC), ARC Arkins, OCCI Jr. Sheermastyers, CKBA, KM Squad, and AVC Law Arkins also came up with perfect runs to lead their respective brackets in the tournament spearheaded by Rocky Alcoseba.

HTC finished with a 2-0 (win-loss) card to lead Pool A in the 12-Under division while RJN and One On One finished with 1-1 and 0-2 slates, respectively.

Leading Pool B in the 12-U division is ARC Arkins, which wound up with a 2-0 record followed by Hilongos and Coach Cho X YBC, which ended with 1-1 and 0-2 records, respectively.

In the 15-U division, OCCI Jr. Sheermasters swept their three-game assignment to lead Pool A while Well Family Boystown came up with two wins and a loss. The Guadalupe Guardians finished with a 1-2 slate while Young Ballers Club went winless in three games.

Leading Pool B is CKBA, which went 3-0 followed by the WLC Mustangs, who collected two wins and a loss. The Apas NHS Falcons wound up with one win in three games while One On One was held winless in three outings,

In Pool C, KM Squad completed a three-game sweep while RJN went 2-1. The Inayawan 11Aers tallied one win in three matches while Coach Cho failed to win a single game in three outings.

AVC Law Arkins led Pool D with a spotless 3-0 record followed by the Abellana Chiefs, Gothong Blacks Stallions, and Youth Basketball Skills Development/X Johan’s Cafe with 2-1, 1-2, and 0-3 ledgers, respectively.

The semifinal round will be played on September 6 while the championship games will be played on September 7 at the Cebu City Sports Insitute Gym in Barangay Sawang Calero, Cebu City.

The semis matches in the 12-U divisions are as follows: RJN versus ARC, Hoospters vs. Hilongos, and Coach Cho and One On One.

The 15-U semifinal matches will have AVC Law Arkins going up against OCCI Juniors and KM Swuad battling CKBA.(CCM)
