THERE’S still no stopping RubberStop in the Buildrite Cup 2025 of the Architects and Engineers Basketball Club (AEBC) as it stayed undefeated following a 97-76 dumping of Readycrete over the weekend at the Cebu Port Authority Gymnasium in North Reclamation Area, Cebu City.
The 21-point triumph tightened RubberStop’s grip on the top spot in Bracket B with three wins in as many games.
Liehn Ibarita showed the way for RubberStop by firing a game-high 27 points.
Ibarita did not do it alone as four other RubberStop players also scored in double figures. James Lim added 19 points, Joemarie Buhion and Jestony Anor each contributed 12 markers while Jhakem Jude Alguno submitted 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Jose Enricko Pitogo scored 21 points for Readycrete, which crashed to its third straight loss.
In the other game, Confix improved to 2-1 (win-loss) in Bracket A by downing Biorust, 80-76.
Christwill Villanueva had a solid all-around game for Confix, finishing with 19 points, seven rebounds, two steals, and a block.
Rex Cagulada backed Villanueva with 16 points. Dafydd Tallido added 13 points, and Roy Solis had 11 markers.
Kurt Damandaman finished with 20 points, Bon Vincent Valencia tallied 14 and Ferdinand Tiro tossed in 12 but Biorust stayed winless through three games.(CCM)
