A TOP boxing prospect who is also aspiring to make it big in showbiz will add star power to the upcoming ‘Kumong Bol-anon 24’ boxing extravaganza in Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
The PMI Bohol Boxing Promotions announced on Tuesday, Jan. 13, that Eman Bacosa Pacquiao, son of boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, will see action in the boxing card slated Feb. 28.
“Bohol boxing fans, are you ready? It’s official! Eman Bacosa Pacquiao is set to fight on February 28 in Tagbilaran City, Bohol, promoted by PMI Bohol Boxing Promotions,” the boxing promotional outfit said in a Facebook post.
Bacosa’s opponent will be announced soon. The main event of the highly anticipated card will feature World Boxing Organization light flyweight No. 3 contender Regie “Filipino Phenom” Suganob against a still-to-be-announced opponent.
The 22-year-old Bacosa is off to a decent start as a pro boxer. He is unbeaten in fights, collecting seven wins, four via knockout, and a draw.
Bacosa’s popularity further grew when he signed a talent contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center in November.(CCM)
