THE starters for next month’s 2026 NBA All-Star Game have been announced, and for the first time in more than two decades, superstar LeBron James is not in the list.

Leading the 10 All-Star starters representing the Eastern Conference and Western Conference are Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic and Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Doncic, who earned the most votes with more than 3.4 million, leads the West All-Star starters while Antetokounmpo spearheads the starting five of the East All-Star.

Joining Doncic in the West are Oklahoma City’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Denver’s Nikola Jokic, Golden State’s Stephen Curry, and San Antonio’s Victor Wembanyama.

Antetokounmpo will be joined in the East’s starting unit by Detroit’s Cade Cunningham, Philadelphia’s Tyrese Maxey, New York’s Jalen Brunson, and Boston’s Jaylen Brown.

The reserves will be announced on Feb. 2 (Philippine time) with James expected to be a part of it.

It will be the first time in 22 years that James failed to get enough votes to make it to the starting unit. The 41-year-old James landed at eighth spot with only 1.8 million votes.

James has appeared 21 in All-Star Games and was a starter each time.

The All-Star Game will be on Feb. 16.(CCM)
