THE seventh day of January next year will be a red-letter day for aspiring lawyers.

The Supreme Court (SC) announced that the results of the 2025 Bar Examinations will be released on Jan. 7, 2026. The announcement was made through SC’s social media pages on Thursday, Dec. 4.

The High Court also announced that the oath-taking and the roll signing of Bar Exam passers will be on Feb. 6, 2026.

The 2025 Bar Examinations were held on September 7, 10 and 14.

According to 2025 Bar Chairperson Amy Lazaro-Javier, only 11,437 took the exams out of the 13,193 admitted examinees.

In 2024, 10,490 aspiring lawyers took the exam but only 3,962 passed for a passing rate of 37.84%.

University of the Philippines' College of Law graduate Kyle Christian Tutor was the 2024 Bar topnotcher with a score of 85.77 percent.(MyTVCebu)
