World Travel Expo Year 10 Opens in Cebu, Bringing Extraordinary Journeys and Exceptional Memories to Ayala Center
WORLD Travel Expo (WTE) Year 10 officially opened at Ayala Center Cebu on August 14, 2026, bringing together destinations, tourism businesses, travel professionals, and travelers for three days of discovery, connection, and new opportunities.
Held from August 14–16, 2026, the Cebu leg of the nationwide Year 10 series carried the theme “Xtraordinary Journeys, Xceptional Memories,” celebrating the experiences, relationships, and stories that made travel meaningful.
The opening marked an important moment for World Travel Expo as it continued its 10th-year journey across the Philippines. More than showcasing destinations, WTE brought together the people who helped move tourism forward, creating a space where travelers could discover new possibilities and industry partners could build meaningful connections.
For Miles Caballero, Managing Director of World Travel Expo, the significance of Year 10 went beyond reaching a milestone.
“When we started this journey, our hope was simple: to create a place where people could discover destinations, build meaningful connections, and experience the stories behind travel.”
Ten years later, that vision continued through the support and participation of the tourism community.
The gathering in Cebu also highlighted the important role of the region in Philippine tourism. Known for its rich heritage, vibrant culture, beautiful destinations, and warm hospitality, Cebu continued to welcome travelers and create experiences that left lasting impressions.
Throughout the three-day event, visitors at Ayala Center Cebu explored travel opportunities, discovered destinations, met tourism businesses, and found inspiration for their next journeys.
More than a travel event, World Travel Expo Year 10 created a space where conversations began, partnerships grew, and people came together through a shared love for travel.
