TUF Barbershop will be celebrating its 11th anniversary in a big way when it stages a cash-rich fun run on Sept. 12 at the scenic Mandani Bay in Mandaue City.

It will be the first time that TUF Barbershop will be organizing a fun run.

“I am into basketball but this time, I want to come up with something different to celebrate our 11th anniversary so we decided to have a fun run,” said TUF Barbershop CEO Stuart Wayne Violanda.

Violanda emphasized that holding a fun run will not only honor the company's journey but also promote health and wellness among the Cebuano community.

"A fun run is the perfect activity because it brings people together, encourages a healthy lifestyle, and allows participants to enjoy a memorable experience with family and friends," said Violanda.

Since opening its first branch in September 2015, TUF Barbershop has steadily expanded its footprint across Cebu and the Philippines.

To date, it operates 29 branches in Cebu, 10 across VisMin, and 1 in Makati that will open in July. TUF serves thousands of loyal and first-time customers seeking premium grooming services and exceptional customer care.

According to Violanda, the running event reflects the company's belief that personal wellness goes beyond appearance.

"At TUF, we believe good health and good grooming go hand in hand. We have always been committed to helping our clients look and feel their best. Through this event, we hope to inspire more people to embrace an active and healthy lifestyle while celebrating this milestone with us," he added.

The fun run will be happening a day before TUF Barbershop’s 11th anniversary on Sept. 13.

To ensure a successful fun run, TUF Barbershop tapped veteran race organizer Joel Juarez of Coco Running to oversee and manage the race.

The footrace will have the 1.1-kilometer parent-and-child, 3KM, 5KM, and 11KM categories.

Cash prizes await the top finishers in each category.

For the 1.1KM, and 3KM categories, the top three finishers will each receive P800.

The 5KM category offers prizes of P2,500, P2,000, and P1,500 for the first, second, and third placers, respectively. In the 11KM race, the top three finishers will receive P3,000, P2,500, and P2,000.

Violanda said participants and spectators can also look forward to exciting side activities, entertainment, and special anniversary surprises throughout the event.

The registration kicks off on July 1 at exactly 1:11 p.m. both online and on-site.

Registration fees are pegged at P1,100 (11K), P950 (5K), P800 (3K), P800 (1.1K), and P1,500 (1.1K, Parent-and-Child).(CCM)
