TRANSMAN Jesi Corcuera, a Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) alum, took to social media to announce that he is carrying his first child.

Corcuera posted his baby bump and the iconic pride rainbow flag along with a lengthy post, admitting that out of all the captions he wrote, announcing his pregnancy is the hardest.

“Alam kong mahihirapan din kayong intindihin kung paano ito nangayari,” he said.

Corcuera then proceeded stating it was in 2018 when he planned to have his child through an IVF (in vitro fertilization). However, he faced many struggles especially with finances making it hard for him to fulfill his dream.

Until his partner Cams returned to him with her children which made him think that was a sign. According to Corcuera, being a co-parent to his partner’s children helped him become ready to be a parent.

“Sa pagtayo ko bilang tatay ng mga anak ni Cams, maraming naging realizations. Isa na dun yung baka may chance pa pala akong magkaroon nga sarili kong anak” he said.

And just as what he wished for, he didn’t expect to be carrying his own child through his “last option.”

Though the process is not easy, Corcuera is very much thankful for his blessing as just like any other human being, he simply wanted to have a child of his own.

Being a co-parent with his partner’s kid would not be changed once he will welcome his little angel whom he nicknamed “Ninja.”

“Sa lahat ng desisyon ko sa buhay, malaki ang naging parte ng mga bata at ni Cams sa kung ano ako ngayon. Samahan niyo kami sa bagong journey ng buhay kong ito” he furthered.

He also hopes that his journey will serve as a lesson to many.

Aside from being a former housemate of “Pinoy Big Brother” in 2017 with the moniker “Trans man of the House ng Cavite”, Corcuera is also a “Starstruck” alum.(LAO)
