Top Line Business Development Corp., commonly known as Topline, a Cebu-based company, is actively broadening its footprint in the fuel industry to meet the increasing demand in the Visayas region.

According to Eugene Erik Lim, Chairman, President, and CEO of Topline, the company is currently constructing additional Light Fuels service stations and launching Express stations throughout Cebu. Their goal is to establish at least 10 new fuel service facilities.

For 2024, Topline’s expansion strategy includes strategically located Light Fuels Sites in Liloan, Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu, Minglanilla, Talamban, and Consolacion.

Lim highlighted that their new Light Fuel Express stations are designed to cater to a specific market segment—two-wheel and lightweight vehicles. This innovation addresses the rising demand in Central Visayas, particularly in Cebu, where motorcycles and lightweight vehicles are prevalent.

The Express stations, which are approximately 500 square meters or larger depending on the location, are compact to maximize space. They feature built-in canopies for shade, a motor wash area, and a unique ‘one pump island’ configuration that allows a single pump to service three motorcycles simultaneously.

When asked about Topline’s competitive edge, Lim emphasized their dedication to exceptional service and safety. “Our focus is on service excellence and safety. We are committed to enhancing our service standards and ensuring safety at our stations. We also plan to conduct drivers’ safety seminars as part of our expansion,” he said.

In its 11 years in the fuel industry, Topline has experienced steady growth, with a remarkable annual increase of 53% from 2017 to 2023. Lim attributed this success not only to the strong fuel demand in Cebu but also to the hard work and dedication of their team in delivering outstanding service to clients and customers.
