FORMER ‘Best Import’ awardee Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is ready to strut his wares again.

The do-it-all import has been reactivated and is ready to suit up for the TNT Tropang 5G in the ongoing PBA Season 50 Governors’ Cup.

The return of the former NBA player is timely as the Tropa has already secured a quarterfinal ticket in the season-ending conference.

Hollis-Jeferson will be replacing Nick Hornsby, who went 2-0 with the Tropa.

Hornsby collected 26 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and five steals in a 116-92 win over Terrafirma then produced 23 points, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals in TNT’s impressive 116-98 win over the powerhouse San Miguel Beermen.

The twin victories allowed the Tropa to hike their record to 6-4 in Group A.

Hollis-Jefferson last suited up for the Tropa in the 2024-25 PBA Commissioner’s Cup, where his stint was cut short after he suffered an Achilles injury while playing for the Meralco Bolts in the East Asia Super League.

Aside from Hollis-Jefferson, the Tropa is also set to activate Poy Erram, allowing the squad to have a healthier roster as the playoff round nears.(CCM)
