SR&T scores sweep, seizes CABC Corporate Cup crown

THE United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) Sugbu Chapter-manned SR&T Industrial Supply copped the Cebu Architects Basketball Club (CABC) Corporate Cup crown by beating Boysen Paints, 83-71, in Game 2 of their best-of-three finals on Sunday, Aug. 23, at the Game Changer Sports Complex in Mandaue City.

SR&T swept the titular series, scoring another dominant win after also winning Game 1, 88-73.

The UAP Sugbu Chapter scored a resounding feat after winning a third straight Corporate Cup title, winning the 2024 and 2025 crowns representing Boysen Paints and Juton Paints, respectively.

SR&T was hardly challenged in the title-clinching victory and even led by as many as 20 points in the final quarter.

Philip Alegado showed the way for SR&T with a game-high 20 points, going 7-of-13 from the field. He also added five rebounds, two assists and a steal.

Former MVP Chester Hinagdanan chipped in 16 points, six rebounds, two steals and two blocks, while Jaymel Allanic added 11 markers.

Kim Rebosura topped Boysen with 16 points, while Lemuel Aspacio contributed 15. Miggy Aparri logged a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds, while Joseph Cabigas finished with 10 points in the loss.(CCM)
