Comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto recently opened up about her unresolved dispute with singer-actress Jessa Zaragoza. The conflict began 16 years ago during a televised "word war” and for Quinto, reconciliation is no longer necessary.

Appearing on the August 3 episode of GMA-7’s "Sarap, ‘Di Ba?", Quinto clarified, "Hindi. Hindi pa. Hindi kami nagkaayos. At wala nang dapat ayusin dahil past na."

She acknowledged the lingering impact of their previous clash with a laugh, saying, "Nagalit na naman [ako]."

The feud, which started in 2008, also involved Zaragoza’s husband, Dingdong Avanzado. Quinto revealed she had a relationship with Avanzado before he and Zaragoza became a couple.

Since their public altercation, Quinto and Zaragoza have not had the chance to meet or address their issues.

Quinto reiterated during the interview, "Hindi. Hindi pa. Hindi kami nagkaayos. At wala nang dapat ayusin dahil past na." She emphasized that both she and Zaragoza have moved past the conflict, noting, "There’s no chance left" for any future encounter.

Supporting host Carmina Villarroel’s suggestion to let go of the past, Quinto highlighted that both have moved forward with their lives and now focus on their families. She joked, "Tsaka maglolola na nga kami."

In closing, Quinto reiterated her stance: "Ibig kong sabihin, masyado nang [matagal]… binaon na iyon sa limot.”(MyTVCebu)
