TWO of the five alleged sex slavery victims of Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy have agreed to testify against him, the Davao City Police announced.

Col. Hansel Marantan, the city's police chief, revealed in a radio interview that while two victims are ready to come forward, the remaining three are still considering their options.

He emphasized that the police cannot force them to testify, as doing so could potentially retraumatize them.

Marantan said that the alleged victims, as young as 12 years old, were regularly sexually abused by Quiboloy. He described the situation as "sex slavery" and called Quiboloy a pedophile due to his intense attraction to minors.

The police are continuing to investigate the case and have identified over 15 more minors who may have been victims of abuse within the KOJC compound in Davao City.

KOJC's legal counsel, Atty. Israelito Torreon, has refuted the allegations, claiming that they are unfounded and yet to be investigated. He urged the police to refrain from excessive publicity and to uphold the presumption of innocence.

However, Quiboloy's legal team has previously denied the allegations, asserting that the accusations are fabricated and that Quiboloy is innocent until proven guilty.

Quiboloy and his co-accused are currently detained at the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame, Quezon City, facing charges of qualified human trafficking and child abuse. In recent arraignments, they pleaded not guilty to these charges.

Additionally, Quiboloy has also been indicted by a federal grand jury in the United States for sex trafficking and bulk cash smuggling. His camp has consistently denied these allegations as well.(MyTVCebu)
