JEANNE Isabelle Bilasano has made history as the first Filipina to win the Face of Beauty International crown.

The coronation night at the Lin Palace in Kaohsiung, Taiwan on September 19.

The 25-year-old speech pathologist from Albay, Bicol, stood out among the contestants, impressing judges and audiences alike.

Her court includes Taiwan’s Anita Wang (1st runner-up), Colombia’s Stephanie Fernandez (2nd runner-up), Tonga’s Sabne Lata Mailei (3rd runner-up), and Thailand’s Warunchana Radomlek (4th runner-up).

Bilasano's victory is a significant milestone in the 12-year history of the New Zealand-based pageant.

In addition to winning the main title, Bilasano received the People’s Choice Award and took home other awards for Best in Swimsuit, Best in National Costume, and Best in Long Gown.

She previously earned her Face of Beauty Philippines title

as a finalist in the 2024 Miss World Philippines pageant.

Bilasano is a strong advocate for sustainable fashion and joins a successful group of queens from the ALV Pageant Circle, which has produced winners in major international pageants.

Arnold Vegafria, President of ALV Pageant Circle, expressed his pride in Bilasano’s accomplishments.

Bilasano is scheduled to return to Manila for a victory press conference on September 24, where she will discuss her win and future plans.(CMM)
