JAMAL Murray was feeling under the weather but it didn’t show in a game that the Denver Nuggets needed to win–badly.

Murray turned in a superb performance to lead the Nuggets to a 119-107 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 6 of their Western Conference semifinals on Friday (Philippine time), May 16.

Denver tied the series, 3-3, with the do-or-die Game 7 slated on Monday, May 19, in Oklahoma.

Murray finished with 25 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and a block. He started the scoring for Denver with a four-point play to start the match. Then at the start of the fourth period when the Thunder started to build some momentum, Murray dropped a triple that stretched Denver’s lead back to double digits, 93-82,

Nikola Jokic was also brilliant for Denver as he piled up 29 points, 14 rebounds, and eight assists. Christian Braun scored a career playoff-best 23 points while reserve guard Julian Strawther had 15 markers, also career playoff-high.

Gilgeous-Alexander tallied 32 points for the Thunder, who are looking to earn their first Western Conference Finals since 2016.

Chet Holmgren added 19 points and 11 boards and Luguentz Dort, Alex Caruso, and Cason Wallace pitched in 10 apiece.(CCM)
