Frontrunners Natica, Handy Fix Pro rout foes in AEBC Buildrite Cup

NATICA and Handy Fix Pro nipped separate opponents to sustain their impressive runs in the Architects and Engineers Basketball Club’s (AEBC) Buildrite Cup 2025 over the weekend at the Cebu Port Authority Gymnasium.

Natica dumped Readycrete, 88-60, while Handy Fix Pro thwarted Surfix, 66-58. With the twin wins, Natica and Handy Fix Pro remained tie atop the Bracket B standings with identical 4-1 (win-loss) records.

John Therese Buhawe and Miguel Cenabre powered Natica by firing 20 points each with the former also adding three rebounds, four steals, and an assist and the latter tossing in three boards, an assist, and a steal.

Buhawe and Cenabre got ample support from Dexsel Caadan Alfredo Sanchez, who wound up with 15 and 12 markers, respectively.

Jose Enricko Pitogo fired 23 markers but Readycrete remained winless after five games.

Handy Fix Pro, on the other hand, was led by Jett Latonio and Conrad Andrino, who combined for 34 points and 16 rebounds.

Jonathan Sotes added 15 points in the win.

Rodel Jalton Calma finished with 14 points and eight rebounds for Surfix, which slipped to 1-4.

Smartbond, meanwhile, easily improved to 3-2 after scoring a forfeit win over Rubberstop.(CCM)
