DSWD-7 JO worker nabbed for drugs
A JOB-ORDER employee of the Department of Social Welfare and Development-Central Visayas (DSWD-7) was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City on Monday night, May 11.
The 48-year-old suspect, a certain Midal, was hired as a driver at DSWD-7.
Operatives of the Intelligence Unit of the Mandaue City Police Office allegedly seized seven packs of suspected shabu worth P3.4 million from the suspect.
Police said the suspect was considered a high-value individual tasked to safekeep and deliver shabu to his patrons.
Police added that the suspect got his supply through a certain Jomel, an inmate at the Cebu City Jail.
The suspect allegedly started peddling shabu in January this year. He was allegedly capable of selling one kilo of shabu a week.
The suspect would allegedly receive P5,000 for every completed drug transaction.(CDB)
