LEONARD Pores III of the PMI Bohol Boxing Stable is raring to go for his fight abroad on August 30.
The 21-year-old Pores has arrived in Bangkok, Thailand where he will fight hometown bet Suriya Kraimanee.
Pores, a native of Claveria, Misamis Oriental, is accompanied in Thailand by PMI Bohol Boxing Stable consultant Edito Villamor and trainer Armando Dela Cruz.
Pores was supposed to take on unbeaten Cebuano prospect AJ Paciones. For undisclosed reasons, Paciones was replaced by Kraimanee as Pores’ opponent.
Pores will come into the fight with an immaculate record, scoring six knockouts in seven wins. The hard-hitting Porres has won his last three fights in impressive fashion, scoring knockout wins against Jessie Bell Goltiano, Dennis Gaviola, and Christian Dave Puing.
The 21-year-old Kraimanee has five wins, five losses, and two draws. He is in a mini slump after losing his last two fights.(CCM)
