AFTER a resounding performance last October, an undefeated Cebuano boxer is scheduled to see action again soon hoping to keep his sterling start of pro career going.
Top-ranked Arvin Jhon Paciones will return to the ring this December as he looks to end the year with a bang following an impressive victory in the “Thrilla in Manila 2: The Countdown” last October 26.
In that fight, the 20-year-old Paciones needed only two rounds to dispose of Jeraldine Ocrarit, cementing his status as one of the country’s rising stars as he pocketed his 12th win in as many fights.
Included in Paciones’ tremendous start is seven knockout victories.
Now fighting under Viva Promotions of Brendan Gibbons, Paciones is currently ranked No. 15 in the flyweight division of the International Boxing Federation and No. 11 in the World Boxing Organization.
Paciones used to be ranked No. 1 in the World Boxing Association but was surprisingly removed from the world rankings.
Paciones’ opponent for the December card is set to be announced.(CCM)
