ALREADY out of playoff contention but the University of San Carlos (USC) Baby Warriors continued to play hard and nailed a hard-earned 68-63 victory over the Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges (CRMC) Baby Mustangs in the high school division of the 24th Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) Basketball Tournament on Tuesday, November 12, at the Cebu Coliseum.
It was only USC’s second win in nine games in what has been a challenging season for the Baby Warriors. If the season ended today, the Baby Warriors would finish 10th in the 12-team field.
