IT’S official. The TNT Tropang 5G is fielding Bol Bol, a towering 7-foot-3 ex-NBA player, as their import in the upcoming PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

Bol, who last played for the Phoenix Suns, has arrived in the country as TNT gears up for its title-retention bid in the import-flavored conference that will start on March 11.

TNT went for Bol after its resident import, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon while playing for the Meralco Bolts in the East Asia Super League.

The son of the late NBA player Manute Bol, TNT’s import is easily the biggest name set to suit up in the Commissioner’s Cup.

The 26-year-old American-South Sudanese played six years in the NBA after being picked in the second round by the Miami Heat in the 2019 draft.

Bol also had stints with the Denver Nuggets and the Orlando Magic.

Bol played 202 games in the NBA and averaged 6.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 0.8 blocks, and 0.3 steals in 13.6 minutes of playing time per outing.(CCM)
