Acclaimed Bisaya folk trio Oh! Caraga is set to headline their first full-length solo concert, Bagani sa Gugma, on October 24, 2025 (Friday), 7:00 PM at the Atlantic Hall 2F, Waterfront Hotel and Casino, Cebu City.
Formed in 2017 by Kenneth Corvera, Adam Corvera, and Sherwin Fugoso, Oh! Caraga has become one of the most resonant voices in contemporary Bisaya folk. Rooted in the cultural soil of the Caraga Region, the trio blends harmonies, heartfelt lyricism, and a deep love for home into music that extends far beyond their hometown, earning both local support and international acclaim.
Their debut album Way Sukod (2019) introduced hits such as “Ipanumpa Ko,” which later became a finalist in the 2020 International Songwriting Competition (ISC). Their sophomore
album BAGANI—an offering of courage, identity, and heritage—continues that global recognition, with the title track also named a finalist in the 2024 ISC.
“BAGANI is about reclaiming identity in a modern world, finding strength in heritage, and continuing the fight to be seen and heard,” the band shares. The 12-track album showcases layered arrangements and emotional depth, while remaining true to the folk spirit that defines their sound.
The concert will feature crowd favorites and new material from BAGANI, alongside guest performances from artists under Oh Caraga Music Corporation (OCMC), the band’s independent label dedicated to nurturing Bisaya talent, as well as performances from Jewel
Villaflores, Ferdinand Aragon, and John Roa.
Bagani sa Gugma is not only a milestone for Oh! Caraga but also a historic moment for Bisaya music’s mainstream presence. “Bisaya voices belong on big stages, in homes, in headphones, and on the lips of those who do not speak it,” the band affirms. “Because we are here. We have always been here.”
Audiences can expect a powerful evening of stripped-down, intimate renditions, electrifying live arrangements, and emotionally charged moments that showcase the beauty and resilience of Bisaya music.
