THE league-leading Oklahoma City Thunder snatched a fourth straight win via a 121-109 thumping of the Toronto Raptors on Saturday (Philippine time), February 8.
Jalen Williams and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander keyed the Thunderโs win by firing 27 and 25 points, respectively.
The victory marked the return of Oklahomaโs top big man Chet Holmgren, who was sidelined for three months due to a pelvic fracture.
The 7-foot-1 forward played for 22 minutes and recorded four points, five rebounds, and four blocks as the Thunder raised their record to 41-9 (win-loss).
Aaron Wiggins added 18 points, Isaiah Joe pitched in 16 markers in a balanced Oklahoma attack.
Alex Caruso and Isaiah Hartenstein also scored in double figures for the Thunder with 12 each.
The Raptors suffered a third straight setback, falling to 16-36.
Scottie Barnes scored 21 points and Gradey Dick added 17 for the Raptors, who played with a depleted roster.
Toronto was without scoring leader RJ Barrett, who was in the concussion protocol. New recruit eBrandon Ingram, acquired from New Orleans, also didnโt suit up.(CCM)
