VOTES continued to pour in for Luka Doncic of the LA Lakers and Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks as the two dynamic players remained the top vote-getters after the second fan returns of NBA All-Star Voting 2026.
Doncic is still has the highest votes in the Western Conference with 2,229,811. Doncic’s teammate, LeBron James, is at 8th spot with 1,059,855 votes. James owns the league-record of most All-Star apperances with 12.
The top five in the West actually remained unchanged since the first fan returns with Nikola Jokić of the Denver Nuggets staying at No. 2 with 1,998,560 votes followed by Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors (1,844,903), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder (1,554,468) and Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs (1,321,985).
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards (1,246,423) is running sixth.
Antetokounmpo is the leader in the Eastern Conference with 2,092,284 votes followed by New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson, who moved up to second place with 1,916,497.
Tyrese Maxey of the Philadelphia 76ers is at No. 3 with 1,908,978 followed by Cade Cunningham of the Detroit Pistons (1,752,801), and Donovan Mitchell of the Cleveland Cavaliers (1,530,237).
The voting will end on Jan. 15 (Philippine time). The starters will be revealed on Jan. 20.
This year’s All-Star players are being selected without regard to position.
The All-Star Game will be held on Feb. 16 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
The 2026 All-Star Game will be following a new format with two teams of U.S. players and one team of international players (the World team) competing in a round-robin tournament featuring four 12-minute games.(CCM)
