KRYOCRETE took down Makaw, 75-68, for its second win in the continuing action of the Architects and Engineers Basketball Club (AEBC) Buildrite Cup 2025 at the University of San Carlos Downtown Campus Gymnasium.
The victory allowed Kryocrete to tie Makaw for second and third places in Bracket A with identical 2-1 (win-loss) records.
Leading Kryocreteโs win were Angelo Tanduyan and Karlo Taboada with the former tallying 18 points, three rebounds, and an assist and the latter collecting 14 points, two assists, and two steals.
Aquim Bordomeo added 12 points for the winning team.
Levi Sinson finished with a game-high 26 points but Makaw still failed to claw its way to victory. Jeanne Paolo Perez added 20 points, six rebounds, a steal, a block, and an assist while Ron Jeyc Fuentes banged in 12 points.
In the other game, Blockout didnโt break a sweat in raising its record to 3-0 after scoring a default win over Handy Grip.
Blockout tightened its grip on the No. 1 spot in Bracket A while Handy Grip further fell to the bottom with a dismal 0-3 card.(CCM)
