FOUR intriguing undercards will spice up a triple championship card in what is shaping up to be a stacked “Binukbukay sa Sugbo” boxing extravaganza slated February 8 at the sprawling NUSTAR Resort and Casino at South Road Properties in Cebu City.

Leading the undercard duels is former world champion Vic Saludar, who will take on Roldan Sasan in a 10-round non-title match.

A former World Boxing Association and World Boxing Organization world champion, Saludar will be putting his four-fightig winning streak and his 25W-6L, 15 KOs record on the line.

Sasan will come into the fight with an 8W-6L-1D, 3 KOs slate. Sasan is on a slump as he lost five of his last six fights.

Top prospect Jason Balajadja (5W-1L, 4KOs) will trade leaders with journeyman Vergil Deguma (9W-9L, 4KOs) in an eight-round duel.

Balajadja, a native of General Santos City, is gunning for a fifth straight win while Deguma is looking to end a five-fight losing streak.

Another undercard will have Raffie Jamero (2W-2L, 1KO) battling Yuli Hindoy (4W-2L, 3KOs) in a six-round fight. Also, Tristan Jay Racho and Aubrey Silot will make their professional debuts when they clash in a four-round curtain-raiser.

Promoted by OX KBDF Gaming of businessman Winley Dela Fuente, the card dangles three WBO regional titles.

South Korea’s Jong Seon Kang (20W-1L-2D, 11KOs) will defend his WBO Global featherweight champion against Japan’s Ryuto Owan (13W-2L, 8KOs).

Cebuano Rodex Piala (10W-1L, 1KO) of ARQ Boxing Stable will clash with reigning WBO Oriental super featherweight champion Yeerjialahasi Laayibieke (10W-2L, 7KOs) of China.

Also seeing action is former world title challenger Genesis Servania (35W-4L, 16KOs), who will tangle with China’s Aketelieti Yelejian (9W-4L-1D, 2KOs) for the vacant WBO Oriental lightweight belt.(CCM)
