IN THE world of the super-rich, money moves fast—but power moves even faster. Every year, new names emerge, fortunes shift, and business empires grow. The global billionaire list has expanded once again, and at the top of the ranks, the competition is fiercer than ever.

In the Philippines, a familiar name is once again on top of the Forbes 2025 World’s Billionaires list.

Manuel "Manny" Villar Jr. remains the wealthiest Filipino, with his fortune climbing to $17.2 billion. The former senator and real-estate-magnate continues to dominate the industry, solidifying his place at the top of the country’s wealth rankings.

Trailing Villar is Enrique Razon Jr., the casino and port tycoon, with a net worth of $8.1 billion.

Meanwhile, Ramon Ang, the CEO of San Miguel Corporation, is this year’s third wealthiest from the Philippines with a net worth of $3.7 billion.

Other Filipino billionaires holding strong on the list include, the Sy siblings, heirs to the SM empire; Andrew Tan (Megaworld); Tony Tan Caktiong (Jollibee), and Lucio Tan (LT Group).

A new addition to the list is Eusebio Tanco, chairman of STI Education Systems Holdings and DigiPlus Interactive, who has amassed an estimated net worth of $1.2 billion.
