Blockout dribblers stay unbeaten in AEBC Buildrite Cup

BLOCKOUT continued its rampaging run with a 69-63 clawing of Makaw in the Architects and Engineers Basketball Club (AEBC) Buildrite Cup 2025 over the weekend at the Cebu Port Authority Gymnasium.

Banking on the productive trio of Jan Manalili, Daniel Culanag, and Paolo Munez, Blockout kept its unbeaten record intact, securing a fourth straight win that tightened its hold on the top spot in Bracket A.

Manalili finished with 19 points, three rebounds, and three assists, Culanag put in 16 points, five rebounds, and one assist, while Munez completed a double-double of 12 points and 11 boards.

Makaw fell to 2-2 (win-loss) despite getting a game-high 24 points and nine rebounds from Jeanne Paolo Perez.

Levi Sinson added 19 points for the losing team.

Meanwhile, Biorust and Conifx posted wins without breaking a sweat after their respective opponents failed to show up.

Biorust scored a forfeit win over Handy Fix Grip to improve to 1-3 while Confix earned its own default win against Kryocrete for its third win in four outings.

Handy Fix Grip stayed winless after four games while Kryocrete fell to 2-2.(CCM)
