STEFANIE Collamar Przewodnik of the Municipality of Asturias fulfilled a childhood dream when she was crowned Sinulog Festival Queen 2026 at the Cebu City Sports Center on Friday, Jan. 16.
Entering coronation night as a frontrunner, Przewodnik captivated the stage with intricate choreography, vibrant festival costumes, and expressive storytelling that celebrated the spirit of Sinulog.
Reflecting on her victory after the coronation, Przewodnik said her performance was both a personal and spiritual offering.
“It’s really a dance prayer, an offering, and also an after-prayer at the same time,” she said in an interview shortly after winning the title.
She added that the win was dedicated to her family, the Holy Child, and her younger self, who had long dreamed of becoming a Sinulog Festival Queen.
“I am so thankful to Señor Santo Niño because I know that I would not have been able to carry this entire costume gracefully.”
Mary Yasmin Fabian of Carcar City placed first runner-up, followed by Kyra Rei Hopkins of Tribu Septimo, Dumanjug as second runner-up.
Clarissa Marie Angelina Gambalan Westram of Cotabato claimed third runner-up, while Chanel Frenzie O. Catao of Inayawan Talents Guild completed the top five.
Asturias dominated the major awards, winning Best in Production Number, Best in Festival Costume, and Best in Solo Performance.
Carcar City received Best in Group Production and Best in Instrumentation, while Inayawan earned Best Festival Costume Designer.
Przewodnik also swept the special awards, taking Chow-Festival Queen, Hiyas ng Sugbo, Smart Choice Award, Miss Palawan, Miss Magnolia Chicken Timplados 2026, and Miss Photogenic. In the minor awards, she earned Miss Bingoplus Festival Queen 2026, Miss DITO 2026, Miss Coca-Cola 2026, and Miss Manila Bankers Assurance 2026.
Other winners included Kyra Rei Hopkins, who claimed Ms. GSM 2026, Miss Bellshayce Foods, Miss Cebu Landmasters 2026, McDonald Sinulog Festival Queen 2026, and Miss MYRA 2026.
Britney Felecio of Mandaue City received Coins.ph Sinulog Queen and Miss Regasco, while Clarissa Westram of Cotabato earned Miss MyTV Cebu 2026.
Przewodnik said she hoped the win would also inspire her team as they prepared for the Sinulog Grand Parade, including the Ritual Showdown and Streetdancing Competition.
The 21-year-old marketing student at the University of San Carlos entered coronation night as a frontrunner after winning the Sinulog Festival Queen 2026 Runway Competition last Wednesday at SM Seaside City Cebu, where Dumanjug and Cotabato bets finished first and second runners-up, respectively.(MyTVCebu)
