HOOPS enthusiasts from various companies are set to strut their wares in the Southwrks Basketball League (SBL) Season 3, which will open on Saturday, November 23, at the City Sports Hub in Barangay Casuntingan, Mandaue City.

A total of six teams have signed up for the inter-company tournament spearheaded by Fritz Malinao and Marrion Joseph Ybanez.

Participating teams include the Lycans, Bulldogs, Ninjas, Unicorns, Builders, and Panthers.

The six competing squads will play in single-round robin format in the elimination phase. Top four teams after the eliminations will advance to the knockout semifinal round.

Semifinal winners will play for the winner-take-all championship while losers will fight for third-place honors.

All six teams will see action on opening day with the Lycans facing off with the Unicorns in the 12:45 p.m. opener.

The 1:45 p.m. second match will pit the Bulldogs versus the Builders while clashing in the 2:45 p.m. main game are the Ninjas and the Panthers.(CCM)
