2 macho dancers nabbed for drugs

FROM dancing to languishing in jail.

Two macho dancers were arrested in an anti-illegal drug operation in Barangay Carreta, Cebu City on Monday night, March 9.

Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Visayas (PDEA-7) and Mabolo Police Station cornered JL, 29, and Jhun, 22, in a buy-bust operation on Edgar Cokaliong Street.

Seized from the two men were four vape cartridges with traces of marijuana.

Two packs of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P47,600 and two tablets of lsergic acid diethylamide, which is known as a party drug, worth P3,400 were also confisacted.

Leia Alcantara, information officer of PDEA-7, said the arrest came after a two-month case build-up against the two suspects.(CDB)
